We offer all lines of insurance products including auto, home, life, health, and business insurance.
We want to provide the coverage you desire at competitive premiums. Additionally, we are concerned that our customers purchase adequate coverage to meet their needs; therefore, we must rely on our customers to read their policies thoroughly to understand the coverage, conditions, limitations, and exclusions. We expect our customers to request additional coverage for new or limited exposures or increased limits as their needs change.
Auto Insurance Concerns
One of our biggest concerns includes purchasing adequate liability coverage on auto insurance. Auto accidents happen and your decision to purchase lower limits of liability might save some premium expense but leave you and your family exposed in the event of a serious auto accident. We highly recommend higher limits of liability including personal umbrella or excess liability policies to help in the event of a serious accident and ask that you request that coverage if needed. We also recommend higher limits on your uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage to protect you in the event of a serious accident caused by someone else.
Also be aware of limitations of coverage transferred to a rental car as "loss of use" coverage never applies and each carrier is different in their determination of applicable coverage for both liability and physical damage.
It is also our insured's responsibility to notify this office on newly acquired vehicles in order to provide coverage for those vehicles. Do not count on your auto dealership to do this for you. It is your responsibility and we will take requests only from you directly, and not from any one else.
Home Insurance Concerns
Homeowners policies have very specific exclusions including flood and earthquake. They also have limits for high valued items such as jewelry, furs, silverware, guns, collections, and more (please read your policy). We expect our customers to let us know if additional coverage is needed. Our personal items floaters (scheduled item coverage) or flood and earthquake policies can fill the gap if you so desire additional coverage.
Be sure to notify this office of any changes in exposures such as additions to your home or mortgagee changes.
